New York Metropolitan Opera Live in HD - Season 2010-2011

Metropolitan Opera's enormously successful, Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series of live transmissions into movie theatres in 44 countries and more than 1000 theatres around the world has sold more than two million tickets during the 2009-10 season, grossing $48 million, with $8 million in net revenue for the Met.
Season 2010-2011 contains twelve operas. The most important new productions of the season are the first two operas of Richard Wagner's Ring Cycle, Das Rheingold and Die Walküre. The whole opera world has long been waiting for the new production, and there are huge expectations towards it.
